The College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Nagaland was established as a constituent College of Central Agricultural University, Imphal. The mission of the college is to create a Centre of Excellence in the North Eastern States for the promotion of animal health, alleviation of animal suffering, efficient and responsible animal production, conservation of native breeds, ecological resources and protection of public health.
